Q. How do you know which spray solution to bring when you come? I don't want the wrong colour.
A. At Brown Bodies we have a selection of 2 premium spray tan brands. The first brand is 'Vani-t Rapid Spray on Tan'. 'Vani-t Rapid Tan' is a tan which you can have a shower as little as one hour after your spray on tan application. 'Vani-t' is also 100% certified organic which is why Brown Bodies recommends 'Vani-t Spray on Tan' to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Although spray tanning is not harmful to you or your baby, this is just an extra precaution that Brown Bodies takes.
The other brand of solution with Brown Bodies provides is 'Tuscan Tan'. Tuscan Tan solution adapts to any skin type as it picks up and adopts the skins own individual darker tones, whilst blending with it's lighter colour variations to produce the most authentic looking tan imaginable in any shade desired, from a lightly sun-kissed through to the darkest of European tans. Better still, Tuscan Tan spray on tan is water resistant, so the tan lasts up to ten days before gradually and evenly fading.
Q. What hours does Brown Bodies operate?
A. Brown Bodies very flexible to your needs; we offer appointments early morning, during the day or late at night. We cater to your needs. To book a tan you can either call Karla or Emma (for Melbourne bookings) or Leticia (for Brisbane bookings) directly, their numbers are listed on the home page or you can book online.
Q. How does Brown Bodies mobile spray tan work?
A. For your first appointment with Brown Bodies, please allow around 20 - 30 minutes. This will allow time for one of our trained professionals to discuss which solution is suitable for your skin type. Your tan colour will then be saved in our data based for next time.
Using a pop up tent, you can stand inside while we spray you. This tent can be set up in your desired room providing there is access to a powerpoint. Please advise our technician prior to your appointment if an extension cord will be needed. Alternatively, we can spray you standing in the shower. The tan simply washes off the sides of the shower the next time it is turned on and won't stain. We don't make a mess and take anything that is soiled with us to dispose off later.
Q. How long will my spray tan last?
A. On average your tan should last between 7-10 days depending on how you prepare and care for your tan. If you would like to extend the life of your tan, it is highly important prior to your tan you exfoliate and for the days after your tan you moisturise. We also recommend not swimming in chlorinated water as this will fade your tan.
Q. What should I wear?
A. Women can wear whatever they feel comfortable in. This can be nothing, a g-string or underwear, it is entirely up to you. At Brown Bodies we provide our clients with disposable g-strings, briefs and also bras.

After your tan we recommend no tight clothing such as denim jeans for the first few hours following. Wearing loose clothing will allow your tan to fully develop evenly.
Q. Should I shave before or after my tan?
A. Shaving is recommended 1 day before your tanning appointment or at least a couple of hours. Shaving is like exfoliating and will lighten your tan.
Q. Waxing?
A. We recommend that you also wax at least one day before your tan.
Q. Will it get in my hair?
A. No. At Brown Brodies we provide you with a disposable shower cap to wear whilst you are being sprayed.
